Sisterlocks® and the Sisterlocks Community were my destiny long before I knew it! Prior to joining the community, for years I installed individual braids in my own hair and the heads of family members. I was stuck in that “put-them-in” – “take-them-out” cycle. It was the best hair freedom that I knew at that time. BUT, we live and learn!
After first seeing a sister in 2004 with her Sisterlocks®, I KNEW that was my true Loc Destiny. She told me that they were Sisterlocks® and that she had them done in L.A. I traveled to the L.A. area and had my establishment completed in April 2005 and have been lovin’ my locs ever since!
As the years have passed, I have continued to see a need for Sisterlocks® services in my immediate area and was often asked where I got my locs installed or where do I go for retightens. I saw this need as an opportunity to continue on to the next level of my Sisterlock® destiny of training and certification as a Consultant. I enrolled in; and completed my training at the August 2015 “Sisterlocks Home Coming” training session. I also enrolled in Cosmetology Training at Paul Mitchell the School Pasadena, passed the CA State Board and became a Licensed Cosmetologists of April 2019.
My passion for Sisterlocks® continues to grow and is replacing a 30+ year career in the corporate world, with my destiny of providing Sisterlocks® and cosmetology services.

Sisterlocks® and Interlocks establishments is a 3 part package (consultation, establishment and first retight). They also include a welcome package of starter shampoo, bands to band your locks, haircare tips, microfiber towel, witch hazel and a few other goodies!
